Senior Team. The last half of the 2018/2019 season saw steady performances from the Senior squad, but as part of our Strategic Development Plan, we did recognise that elements of our game and our approach would benefit from some improvement in the forthcoming season. A busy pre-season during the summer saw Lynx retain a robust core of players from the previous Senior and Intermediate teams, allowing some strategic transfers to be targeted with specific new players brought in to compliment an already structured group. Euro 2020 opens up friendly new frontiers for Gibraltar

QUALIFICATION for the finals of Euro 2020 was always going to be an impossible dream for Gibraltar, the early promise displayed in narrow defeats home and away in the opening fixtures to the Republic of Ireland failed to come to fruition and bruising defeats from group heavyweights Denmark and Switzerland followed, with Georgia piling on the punishment twice, firstly with a 3-0 win in Tbilisi, followed by a much improved performance from Julio’s boys in losing a thriller by the odd goal in five against the Georgians at a frenzied Victoria Stadium last month. The Deli by Gourmet Catering Trophy

Med Golf returned to Valle Romano on Sunday 16th June 2019 to stage the Deli by Gourmet Catering Trophy event. The competition was run in the usual individual Stableford format in perfect conditions for golf: pleasant temperatures; a gentle breeze and a well presented golf course with true greens.  Keep Reading
